Adult ECG electrodes are essential, single-use, non-invasive sensors designed to detect the heart’s electrical activity (depolarization/repolarization) and transmit it to an ECG machine or monitor. In clinical settings, they are commonly used for 12-lead diagnostic ECGs, 3- or 5-lead continuous cardiac monitoring, and stress tests.
